HEALING III

iii Healing – I transformed my shadows into strength
The Seven Powers & the Path of
Wholeness
THE GOSPEL OF MARY MAGDALENE SPEAKS OF THE SEVEN POWERS
UNSEEN FORCES THAT BIND THE SOUL IN ILLUSION, KEEPING IT ENTANGLED AND VULNERABLE.
Each of these powers keeps us open to manipulation, unhealthy relationships, and cycles of suffering.
These powers are: Darkness, Fear of Death, Desire, Wrathful Wisdom, The Kingdom of the Flesh, Ignorance, and Foolish Wisdom.
Each one represents a veil of illusion, a trial that keeps us vulnerable to manipulation, unhealthy relationships, and cycles of suffering. They are not punishments, but passages - challenges that call us to rise into sovereignty.
Through my own journey of shadow work and divine surrender, I walked through these powers. In doing so, I found what I had been searching for all along: Peace within myself and closeness with God.
The overcoming of the Seven Powers Magdalene describes mirrors what Carl Jung called the process of individuation -integrating the shadow and reclaiming the whole self.
Though expressed in different languages, both point to the same truth: when we face our shadows, we awaken to wholeness.
The outcomes of Magdalene’s Seven Powers and Jung’s individuation process align beautifully:
Self-Realisation – A deeper understanding of your true self.
Inner Harmony – Balance between your inner opposites.
Authenticity – Living free from masks and expectations.
Creativity – Unlocking new vision and expression.
Meaning & Purpose – Aligning your life with soul values.
Relationships – Relating from truth, not wounds.
Resilience – Strength to face challenges without breaking.
Spiritual Growth – A profound connection with the divine.
This is not abstract philosophy - it is lived experience. Through solitude, reflection, art, journaling, and meditation, I faced my shadows, integrated them, and discovered the truth Jesus proclaimed, Mary Magdalene embodied, and Carl Jung alluded to: the kingdom of heaven is within you.
Bridging Psychology &
Spirituality
Jung offers a map of shadow integration and individuation - the path to wholeness.
Magdalene embodies unconditional love, spiritual strength, and sacred transformation.
Together, they create a bridge between psychology and spirituality - a union of awareness, compassion, and truth. This bridge became the foundation of my healing and the inspiration I now share.
My HEALING
As touched upon before, my journey began with what I can only describe as a divine intervention - my Dark Night of the Soul, God guided me to the energy of Mary Magdalene.
Around the same time, I was introduced to the works of Carl Jung. His teachings on the shadow gave me language for what my soul was already being guided to live. I let everything fall away. I cut ties, withdrew into solitude, and sat with only my own energy for company. It was not easy. But in that silence, I began to see clearly.
I wrote down every year of my life, mapping my own “series of unfortunate events.” Patterns emerged. Cycles revealed themselves. Instead of drowning in them, I chose to become the observer. I stepped outside of my story long enough to see it from another perspective - and that shift changed everything.
Some memories I could not put into words, so I gave them form through artwork. My artwork became oracle cards. Creativity became therapy, giving voice to emotions that had been trapped in silence. Through expression, I found release.
Alongside this, I journaled, meditated, and surrendered my wounds to God. Slowly, I felt transformation taking root. My inner rage softened. My fear lost its grip. My heart opened in ways I didn’t think were possible. Through this process, I believe I lived the path Jung called individuation and Magdalene would describe as overcoming the Seven Powers - illusions and forces that keep the soul entangled in suffering. By facing them, I found what I had always been searching for: the kingdom of heaven within.
For the first time in my life, I knew true inner peace. I was no longer reactive, no longer as triggered by the world outside me. Instead, I stand anchored, sovereign, and whole.
What follows below is not a prescription or a guarantee. It is simply a framework - a lantern to God - born from the actions I took. My hope is that it may shine light on your own path.
Key to the ‘help with inner peace’ Framework below;
Each entry follows a four-part structure that bridges scripture, personal experience, psychology, and practice:
Power Faced – Drawn from the Seven Powers in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. Each Power represents a state of consciousness or challenge encountered on the soul’s journey. (For example: Darkness, Desire, Ignorance…)
My Path – My lived encounter with this Power. Here I share how it has manifested in my own journey, so the teaching becomes embodied and relatable.
Jung – A psychological perspective, using the language of Carl Jung to mirror the Power through archetypes, the unconscious, and the shadow.
Action – A step or practice to help you integrate this Power into your own life, transforming challenge into awakening.

Peace
A Magdalene–Jungian suggestion for Shadow Work, Individuation, and Divine Union within
i. The Call to Awakening
Seven Power Faced: Darkness - the state of spiritual blindness and disconnection.
Segment from my story: ‘My journey began with a divine intervention, a sudden and unmistakable connection with Mary Magdalene. Her presence awakened me out of my inner darkness and set me on a higher path.’
Jung: The unconscious breaking through into awareness.
Action: Notice the inner or outer “calls” that refuse to be ignored. Trust them as the first steps on your journey home.
ii. Entering the Wilderness
Seven Power Faced: Fear of Death - fear of endings, change, or letting go.
Segment from my story: ‘I cut ties with the outside world and sat in solitude with only my own energy. It felt like a kind of death - the death of old attachments - yet it became the soil for new life.’
Jung: Withdrawal from the collective to meet the Self.
Action: Create space for solitude, even in small ways. Allow endings to become gateways to rebirth.
iii. Life Review & Shadow Mapping
Seven Power Faced: Ignorance - living unconsciously in repeating cycles.
Segment from my story: ‘I wrote down every year of my life, mapping my “series of unfortunate events.” Patterns emerged, and cycles became visible. Seeing them clearly was the first step in breaking them.’
Jung: Shadow integration begins with seeing unconscious patterns.
Action: Write your timeline. Observe it as if watching a film. Awareness is liberation.
iv. Becoming the Observer
Seven Power Faced: Foolish Wisdom - believing illusions or false identities.
Segment from my story: ‘ I stopped reliving my memories and instead became the observer. By stepping outside of my story, I saw through the illusions and false beliefs I once carried.’
Jung: The “witness consciousness” - the Self watching the ego.
Action: When revisiting memories, ask: What is this teaching me now? What illusions am I ready to release?
v. Alchemy Through Creativity
Seven Power Faced: Desire - unexpressed longing, attachment, and unmet needs.
Segment from my story: ‘I created artwork from painful memories, and those pieces later became oracle cards. This creative process freed emotions that had been trapped within me and gave voice to truths I couldn’t yet speak.’
Jung: Individuation unlocks creativity - the psyche speaks in symbols.
Action: Channel your energy into art, writing, or movement. Expression turns longing into liberation.
vi. Journaling as Integration
Seven Power Faced: Wrathful Wisdom — the inner chaos that breeds confusion, bitterness, or mental unrest.
Segment from my story: ‘Through journaling, I poured the thoughts from my head onto the page. This simple act of writing cleared my mind, helped me process what felt heavy, and gave me perspective.’
Jung: Active imagination - creating dialogue with the unconscious by giving thoughts and inner voices space to be expressed.
Action: Write freely. Empty your mind onto the page without judgment. Even scattered notes or unfinished sentences can bring clarity and dissolve the power of what lingers unspoken.
vii. Meditation & Sacred Stillness
Seven Power Faced: The Kingdom of the Flesh - over-identification with the material and the ego.
Segment from my story: ‘In meditation, I discovered deep stillness and connection with God, my ancestors, and my higher self. I learned I was more than flesh - I was spirit.’
Jung: Connection with the Self - transcendent awareness beyond ego.
Action: Cultivate stillness daily. Even 10 minutes of silence can anchor you in the eternal within.
viii. Releasing & Forgiving
Integration of All Seven Powers - here is where bitterness, shame, and illusions lose their grip.
Segment from my story: ‘I shifted my perspective, forgave where I could, and released what was never mine to carry. In letting go, I found freedom.’
Jung: Releasing projections and reclaiming ownership of the soul.
Action: Write letters of release. Say: I free myself, I free you. All glory to God.
ix. The Crown of Individuation
Fulfilment of Individuation & Overcoming the Seven Powers
Segment from my story: ‘Through shadow work, solitude, creativity, and devotion, I brought together the hidden parts of myself and stepped fully into sovereignty.’
Jung: The union of conscious and unconscious - individuation.
Magdalene: The powers transmuted, sovereignty restored.
Action: Affirm daily: I am whole. I am sovereign. I am free.
x. The Kingdom Within
The Revelation: What both Jung and Magdalene spoke of is true: the kingdom of heaven is within.
Segment from my story: ‘At last, I found inner peace - not fragile, not dependent on the outside world, but eternal. I am no longer triggered by the world around me; I live anchored in God’s peace.’
Jung: Harmony of the Self, living authentically and meaningfully.
Magdalene: Divine sovereignty - heaven within.
Action: Each day, ask: What nurtures my peace? What disturbs it? Protect the kingdom within, for it is holy.
The Outcome: This framework shows how shadow work, Jung’s individuation, and overcoming Magdalene’s Seven Powers converge into the same truth - inner peace is not found outside, but born within.
A Note from Me
I’m not here to say, “Do these ten steps and your life will change overnight.” This isn’t therapy, and I’m not a therapist. I share this framework as someone who has lived it — who has walked through the fire and found peace on the other side.
If you knew the hell I was enduring even whilst creating this project, you’d understand that every word was written through faith. What I went through, which shall soon come to light, stands as living proof of God’s existence, and what it truly means to be covered.
These steps are not prescriptions; they’re lanterns. Gentle lights pointing the way back to God, back to the truth that already lives within you.
If anything here helps you, all glory goes to God. I’m not speaking as an expert, but as an experiencer, someone who learned that even in the deepest darkness, divine protection never leaves you, and grace can bloom in the most unlikely places.
I believe lived truth has its own kind of wisdom worth hearing.
Through this process, I’ve alchemised my wisdom and insights into courses. You’ll find them below - they may support you on your journey.
